Queer Spectrum Film Festival 2025

Venue Irish Film Institute 6 Eustace St, Temple Bar, Dublin D02 PD85, Ireland

The Queer Spectrum Film Festival (QSFF) is a groundbreaking event in Ireland’s cultural landscape, proudly recognized as the country’s first film festival dedicated to amplifying the voices of LGBTQIA+ individuals of colour and immigrants from around the world.

Organised by Queer Asian Pride Ireland (QAPI), this vibrant community consists of LGBTQIA+ individuals of Asian descent living in Ireland. QAPI is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ people of colour and immigrants in Ireland.

Through QSFF, we celebrate the rich diversity within Ireland’s LGBTQIA+ community while working toward a more inclusive and understanding society. The festival showcases short and feature films by Queer People of Color (QPoc) filmmakers, highlighting the emotional and physical experiences often overlooked in mainstream narratives. By encouraging open dialogue between artists and audiences, QSFF fosters deeper connections and understanding.

Now in its second year, we are excited to host the Queer Spectrum Film Festival during Summer Pride 2025 at the Irish Film Institute (IFI), Ireland’s national cultural institute for film. Join us in celebrating powerful stories and the incredible talent behind them. This year, the program will include short film blocks, feature films, and a panel discussion.
