Queer Asian Pride Ireland’s pride celebration at All My Friends on 14th June 2023 was full of love and happiness. The LGBQIA+ immigrants and people of colour community living in Ireland are growing fast. This unique community seeks connection and cultural relevance, and QAPI aspires to create a safe and inclusive space for them.
We hosted the “Where Love Is Illegal” photographic exhibition this year, partnering with Witness Change Org.
“Where Love Is Illegal” was one of the essential creative works of our time created for documenting and sharing LGBTI stories of discrimination and survival worldwide. The exhibition consists of 20 photographs taken by renowned photographer Robin Hammond with personal testimonies of survival from the LGBTQI+ community worldwide.
